Account & Data Deletion Policy

Effective Date: 25 September 2026

Last Updated: 25 September 2026

This Account & Data Deletion Policy explains how users of TextPixora, operated by COMPUTER ABC SYSTEMS CENTRE LTD through textpixora.com, may request account closure, correction, deletion, or removal of personal information associated with their use of the platform.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Data Usage Policy, and Terms and Conditions.

1. Purpose of This Policy

TextPixora respects the privacy rights of its users and recognises that users may wish to close their accounts or request deletion of certain personal information.

This policy explains:

  • how account deletion requests may be submitted;
  • what information may be deleted;
  • what information may need to be retained;
  • how AI prompts and generated images may be handled;
  • how payment and transaction records are treated;
  • how privacy requests are verified; and
  • what happens after an account is closed.

2. Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to users who:

  • have created a TextPixora account;
  • have submitted AI prompts;
  • have generated images;
  • have purchased credits or subscriptions;
  • have contacted customer support; or
  • otherwise have personal information associated with TextPixora.

Users who have never created an account may still contact us if they believe TextPixora holds personal information relating to them.

3. Requesting Account Deletion

Users may request deletion or closure of their TextPixora account by contacting:

[email protected]

To help us identify the correct account, users should submit the request using the email address associated with their TextPixora account wherever possible.

The request should clearly state that the user wishes to close or delete the account.

We may request reasonable information to verify identity before taking action.

4. Identity Verification

Account deletion and privacy requests can involve sensitive account information.

To protect users against unauthorised deletion requests, we may need to verify that the person making the request is the account holder or is otherwise legally authorised to act on their behalf.

Verification may involve confirming:

  • the registered email address;
  • account information;
  • recent account activity;
  • transaction information; or
  • other reasonable information necessary to confirm identity.

Users should never send passwords, complete payment-card numbers, CVV codes, banking passwords, or similar confidential credentials for verification.

5. What Happens When an Account Is Closed

When a valid account-closure request is completed, TextPixora may:

  • disable access to the account;
  • prevent further login;
  • stop future generation activity;
  • cancel account-based access where applicable;
  • remove or anonymise account information where appropriate;
  • delete personal information that is no longer required; and
  • retain limited records where necessary for lawful purposes.

Account closure does not always mean that every record can be deleted immediately.

6. Personal Information That May Be Deleted

Subject to applicable legal requirements and technical limitations, deletion may apply to information such as:

  • account profile information;
  • usernames;
  • account preferences;
  • stored personal settings;
  • certain generation history;
  • certain AI prompts;
  • certain generated images;
  • support information no longer required; and
  • other personal information that no longer needs to be retained.

The exact information deleted may depend on how TextPixora is configured and whether there is a legal or operational reason to retain particular records.

7. AI Prompts and Generated Images

TextPixora may process AI prompts, generation settings, and generated images when users create content through the platform.

Where technically available and legally appropriate, account deletion may include removal of prompts and generated content associated with the user's account.

However, some information may need to be retained temporarily or in limited form for:

  • security investigations;
  • fraud prevention;
  • technical troubleshooting;
  • abuse investigations;
  • legal claims;
  • compliance requirements; or
  • resolving disputes.

If generated content has already been downloaded by a user, account deletion does not remove copies stored independently on that user's device or systems.

8. Generation History

Where TextPixora provides generation-history functionality, information relating to previous image-generation activity may be linked to a user's account.

After account closure, such information may be:

  • deleted;
  • anonymised;
  • disconnected from the account; or
  • retained where there is a lawful reason to do so.

The method used may depend on technical configuration and applicable legal obligations.

9. Payment and Transaction Records

Certain payment and transaction information may need to be retained after account deletion.

This may include records relating to:

  • purchases;
  • invoices;
  • transaction identifiers;
  • refunds;
  • subscription payments;
  • accounting;
  • taxation;
  • payment disputes;
  • chargebacks; and
  • fraud investigations.

These records may be retained where necessary to comply with financial, accounting, legal, or regulatory obligations.

TextPixora does not intentionally retain full payment-card details or confidential banking authentication information where these are handled by third-party payment processors.

10. Subscription Cancellation and Account Deletion

Closing a TextPixora account and cancelling a paid subscription may be treated as separate actions.

Users with an active subscription should ensure the subscription is cancelled where necessary to prevent future billing.

If an account-deletion request is received while a subscription is active, we may take reasonable steps to address the subscription status as part of the request.

Users may contact [email protected] for assistance.

11. Unused Credits

Where a user closes an account that contains unused credits, tokens, or usage allowances, those credits may no longer be available after account closure.

Account deletion does not automatically create a right to a cash refund for unused credits.

Any applicable refund entitlement is determined in accordance with:

  • our Refund & Cancellation Policy;
  • the relevant purchase terms; and
  • mandatory consumer rights.

Users should review any available credit balance before requesting permanent account closure.

12. Information We May Need to Retain

Certain personal information may be retained even after an account-deletion request where necessary for:

  • legal obligations;
  • tax and accounting requirements;
  • financial recordkeeping;
  • fraud prevention;
  • cybersecurity;
  • dispute resolution;
  • chargebacks;
  • legal claims;
  • enforcement of our Terms and Conditions;
  • regulatory enquiries; or
  • protecting the rights and safety of TextPixora, users, or third parties.

Where information must be retained, we aim to limit it to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

13. Security and Fraud Records

TextPixora may retain limited records relating to:

  • fraudulent transactions;
  • suspicious logins;
  • account compromise;
  • prohibited platform activity;
  • security incidents;
  • abuse of credits; or
  • attempts to bypass platform safeguards.

These records may be necessary to prevent repeat abuse, investigate security incidents, protect users, or defend legal claims.

They may therefore be excluded from immediate deletion where a lawful basis exists.

14. Customer Support Records

Support communications may contain information needed to:

  • resolve ongoing issues;
  • document complaints;
  • investigate billing matters;
  • respond to disputes;
  • manage refund requests; or
  • establish a history of previous support activity.

Support records may be deleted when no longer required, but certain records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

15. Marketing Data

Users may request removal from promotional communications without deleting their TextPixora account.

Users may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe option included in applicable marketing communications or by contacting us.

We may retain limited suppression information after an opt-out so that we can continue to respect the user's request not to receive promotional messages.

16. Cookies and Device Data

Deleting a TextPixora account does not automatically remove cookies stored on a user's browser or device.

Users may manage or delete cookies through:

  • browser settings;
  • device settings; or
  • available TextPixora cookie controls.

Further information is available in our Cookie Policy.

17. Data Held by Third-Party Providers

TextPixora may use third parties for services such as:

  • hosting;
  • cloud infrastructure;
  • AI processing;
  • payment processing;
  • analytics;
  • security;
  • authentication; and
  • email delivery.

Where a valid deletion request applies, we may take appropriate steps regarding personal information processed by service providers acting on our behalf.

However, independent third parties may have their own legal obligations requiring them to retain certain information.

For example, payment providers may retain transaction records in accordance with applicable financial or regulatory requirements.

18. Anonymisation Instead of Deletion

In some circumstances, information may be anonymised rather than completely erased.

Anonymisation means information is processed so that it can no longer reasonably identify an individual.

Properly anonymised information may be retained for purposes such as:

  • statistical analysis;
  • platform performance;
  • security research;
  • aggregated reporting; or
  • technical improvement.

Information that remains identifiable will continue to be treated as personal information.

19. Legal Rights to Erasure

Where UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or similar privacy legislation applies, users may have a legal right to request deletion of personal information in certain circumstances.

This right may apply, for example, where:

  • the information is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected;
  • consent is withdrawn and no other legal basis applies;
  • a valid objection to processing applies;
  • information has been processed unlawfully; or
  • deletion is required by law.

The right to deletion is not absolute.

A deletion request may be limited where processing remains necessary for a lawful purpose.

20. Reasons a Deletion Request May Be Limited

We may be unable to delete certain information immediately where retention is required or permitted for purposes such as:

  • compliance with legal obligations;
  • exercising or defending legal claims;
  • preventing fraud;
  • protecting platform security;
  • resolving payment disputes;
  • enforcing contractual rights; or
  • maintaining necessary financial records.

Where appropriate, access to retained data may instead be restricted.

21. Timing of Requests

TextPixora aims to handle valid privacy requests without undue delay and within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Some requests may take longer where:

  • additional identity verification is required;
  • a request is unusually complex;
  • multiple systems need to be reviewed;
  • third-party processors are involved; or
  • applicable law permits an extension.

Where legally required, users will be informed if additional time is needed.

22. Withdrawal of a Deletion Request

A deletion request may not always be reversible once processing has begun.

If a user changes their mind, they should contact [email protected] as soon as possible.

Once account information or generated content has been permanently deleted, TextPixora may be unable to restore it.

Users should download or save any content they wish to keep before requesting deletion.

23. Requests Made on Behalf of Another Person

Where someone submits a request on behalf of another user, we may require evidence that they are authorised to act for that person.

This may include appropriate legal authority or other reasonable verification.

We will not disclose or delete another person's information solely based on an unverified request.

24. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Account & Data Deletion Policy to reflect changes in:

  • TextPixora features;
  • account functionality;
  • AI systems;
  • storage practices;
  • privacy requirements;
  • service providers; or
  • legal obligations.

The latest version will be published on textpixora.com.
